Categories are used to easily grant access to reports.
When creating a report, you can assign the report to a category. All users who are assigned to this category (which is defined via roles) can see, edit and/or delete the report. It depends on the configuration done in the "Role" area which of these rights are granted to the user. Reports that are not assigned to a category are only visible for the login who created the report and for users with full access.
Categories can be defined in this area. Within the role configuration, you can assign categories to roles.
Basic category information
