On the 31.05.2018 we released the UI in the new Analytics to manage your custom metrics and formulas, that lets you create, update and delete your own custom metrics and formulas. Addionally we migrated all already existing custom metrics and formulas from Q3 once into our new Application. From this date on, changes to metrics and formulas at the new analytics interface will have no impact on their counterpart in Q3 and vice versa.
What changed to before
- Custom Formulas that include functions, where not migrated. Functions are depricated.
- Custom Formulas using a Custom Metric or Formula where resolved, so they don't include a reference to used custom metrics and formulas.
- All users that have an assigned role which includes the rights to manage custom metrics, can now create new custom metrics and formulas and change/delete all existing custom metrics and formulas.
- If you migrate a Q3 report including a custom formula or metric that has been created in Q3 after the 31.05.2018 , the custom metric or formula will not be migrated into the new analytics and will be missing in the migrated report.
