Webtrekk offers two modes:
- Preview mode
the so-called preview mode allows an estimation of how much the visitor recognition will be improved. For doing so, the new metric "Visitors (CDB Preview)" is available.
If you use a current version of the Webtrekk pixel (version 5.0 or higher), nothing has to be adapted technical-wise. Starting at version 4.3 the tracking of the CDB has to be activated in the pixel or in Tag Integration.
After the activation of the function by Webtrekk you see the the new metric "Visitors (CDB Preview)". Use this metric and compare it with "Visitors" in order to estimate the improvement of the visitor recognition. - Full mode
In full mode all user-centric calculations are based on data from the Cross Device Bridge. Especially cohorts, processes, customer journeys and, thus, attribution assignments are getting significantly more accurate. Also, in the filter engine the scope "Visitor" focuses on the users based on Cross Device Bridge data.
Furthermore, for example the number of visitors will decrease and the conversion rate will increase.
