Webtrekk provides a high-end analytical tool to analyze the traffic on your website, identify success factors and optimize it on the basis of actual key indicators.
The basis for web analysis with Webtrekk is the pixel, which entails embedding a Webtrekk code in your pages. The attached guide describes the technical implementation of the pixel.
Your account includes most of the tracking data transmitted to Webtrekk, which is standardized solely on the basis of the pixel. Accounts must be explicitly configured for some data, however, to enable Webtrekk to correctly record and interpret the information. This data can only be tracked after the configuration is applied. This affects:
- Custom parameters
Changes/corrections can only be made afterwards to categories. Since this is not possible with the other data, the account must be correctly configured from the start.
What is AMP?
AMP is not only intended to distribute the content of publishers to other platforms, but also to speed up the mobile web. It consists of three parts:
- AMP HTML
- AMP JS
- AMP CDN
AMP HTML is normal HTML with a few restrictions intended to guarantee fast loading times. It can also be expanded with additional modules, such as "amp-ad", "amp-analytics" and many more. AMP JS ensures fast execution of the page. AMP CDN (optional) delivers the AMP documents via a proxy-based server.
